One national champion in the last 13 years and that one had a big asterisk... just sayin. 8-)

Nova's has an asterisk too...their coaches bribed ours to stop throwing to Mariani in the second half. :ohno:

Game with a team that won a championship in the last 5 years vs the only team to beat the National Champion last year.

Now where did that asterisk go? Let me look around for that asterisk. Has anyone seen the asterisk?

The asterisk I think has something to do with sh!tting the bed in the second half..?
Its hard to coach when your trousers are loaded

I am offended that Delaware-Laffy isn't on the list.

That game has the ability to make uneducated Patriot fans think their conference is something special.

Game with a team that acts like they've won it every year vs the only team that when they get into the playoffs acts like they NEVER want to win one...

It's on the 22 yard line in Frisco. I think there's a plaque there now.

Grizspeak - noun - a boilerplate response to any real or perceived slight of the Griz Football Program. Grizspeak invariably references:

1. the opponents team luck
2. that they have won no national championships
3. injured/incarcerated Griz players who if healthy would make them unbeatable
4. the capacity and atmosphere of Wash Griz Stadium

Used in a sentence:

Bob: "Man I can't believe the Griz lost by 70"

Ursus: "Yeah, but WashGriz was packed and if we had Jennings healthy we would have won. Those 40 consecutive pass completions were lucky. Oh, and how many NC's have the Mildcats won??? Thought so."

Bob: "Dude, take a chill pill. That's Grizspeak."

All that keyboard diarrhea, and my post had absolutely nothing to do with the Griz. :dunce:
