Roughriders is the clear choice among the short list.

Fighting Hawks would just be copying other schools with fighting birds as mascots, and let's face it: a hawk isn't nearly as fearsome as poultry.

I thought the announcers at the UND vs UM game said the NoDaks was the leader.

I too thought Rough Riders was the way to go.

I kind of liked the Fighting
Sioux but I guess there was a split amongst the tribe as to whether it offended or not. Utah learned that a lot of scholarship money takes a lot of offense away.
