Big Sky Predictions 11-14

Already, we are at the second to last week of the regular conference season. The Big Sky seems to have finally found their frontrunner, even if their toughest test is still yet to come. I am currently at 53-22 and this is another shot at perfection.

CP at UCD---Both the Mustangs and the Aggies are playing out the string. However, the Mustangs seem to be running the triple option well, while the Aggies seem to be limping, struggling on both sides of the ball. At least the Mustangs seem to still be playing... CP 35, UCD 13.

EWU at UM---One of the marquee games in the conference this season. In what could be called the Slim to None game, the winner of this game still harbors playoff hopes, while the loser's chances are drying up. For both the Eagles and the Grizzlies, that is hard to believe...UM 35, EWU 33.

MSU at ISU---The Bobcats seem to be a totally different team on the road while the Bengals seem to be a totally different team at home. Still, both teams have explosive offense and questionable defenses that have let them down more often this season...ISU 48, MSU 45.

UNC at UND---The Bears took a home game last week against a tough conference foe and probably should have had another two weeks before. The Dakotans took last week off and still think they have a shot at the playoffs. Imagine that, even if it is true...UND 17, UNC 14.

SAC at NAU---Forget a late season swoon from the Lumberjacks, their last three games show they may be peaking at the right time. Now they face a Hornets team that is going the opposite direction, and who is going through their own swoon...NAU 51, SAC 17.

SUU at PSU---Arguably, the best game in the conference this week. Both the Thunderbirds and the Vikings are in unfamiliar territory, being out front and playing a game of this magnitude this late in the season. Which one will rise to the challenge...PSU 31, SUU 28.

Suutah 13-24 Portland St.Playing the hungry Vikings in Portland is a brutal test for the T-Birds

Cal Poly 35-13 Davis — Whatever…

Montana St. 42-41 Idaho St. — The Griz Hangover leads to another tragic loss in Kramerica

Sac State 21-52 NAUThe Hornets are the perfect opponent for a team prone to late-season collapses

EWU ??-?? Montana — Because nobody in this world can truly know anything, really…

NoCo 24-27 NoDakThey may be murky, but who thought this game would have any playoff implications at all?

I'm really taking the Griz, 34-31, but it seems like an indecipherable coin flip right now.

SUU - T-Birds continue their march to the BSC crown.
CP - Mustangs win a game that will be closer than people think.
MSU - Bengals bungle another shot in a winnable game somehow.
NAU - 'Jacks win big in an easy one.
UM - Toss up. Going with the home team.
UND - Toss up. Going with the home team.

PSU...but it'll be close.
CP...blowout.
Kitties...bad year, but they'll STILL blow out the Bungles...as always.
Sac...myopianism, I suppose.
EWU...just hope they don't get infected with what everyone else does...the Griz Hangover....
UND...also close.

PSU beats the snot out of SUU
Davis does their annual Jeckle and Hyde and beats Cal Poly into their worst season in a decade
MSU over ISU but in a close game
NAU because Sac doesn't even look like they play football anymore
EWU...not sure why
UND...because they are better and they are at home

Yes. I'd much prefer you to lose down by 24 or so by the start of the 4th quarter. :coffee:

Gotta go with my boys at SUU, but this one scares me for sure. I'll say SUU 38 PSU 28. SUU will need to show up on both sides of the ball to have a chance. This should be the game of the week no doubt.

I like CP over Davis by 5 pts.
MSU over ISU by 2tds.
NAU over Sac by 3 tds.
EWU over Mont. By 10 pts.
Noco over ND by 5 pts.

Yeah, that's why Portland State just lost. Their game with us took so much out of them emotionally and physically. Untouched 50 yard runs will do that.

You're talking SUU/PSU right? I'm dumb but I'm not stupid. I'm taking the homer vote on this prediction, but truthfully who knows what the hell is going to happen. I'd never make an actual bet on it.
EDIT... Sorry just saw the highlighted score with EWU and Montana. Still wouldn't take action on it but I stick by my prediction. :?

Fair enough. I see it as too close to call, which is why I would take the Griz to cover that spread all day.

I would not be surprised by a blow out either way or a tight one.

Went 5-1 this week, only missed the MSU game. 58-23 overall.

That's actually pretty damn good considering how weird the Big Sky has been this year...
