A lot riding on the line for the annual Grand Canyon Cup - Big Sky Championship potential, playoffs, etc.

NAU's offense has been on fire, averaging 54 points a game during the current 4 game win streak, while holding opponents to 30 points.

Since 1982!

Back in the mid-80's, when I worked for the NAU athletic department, I proposed this name - took almost 30 years for it to officially happen.

The road team has won this game the last 5 times. Don't see that very often.

One of the best offenses in the conference (NAU) going up against one of the best defenses (SUU) in the conference. This has all the signs of being a fun one. It's a shame that the loser will most likely not make the playoffs as both have shown to be legit at the end of the season.

I'll be in Phoenix (Scottsdale to be exact) on Saturday to drive my dad up to watch the UM-MSU game with his friends @ Dukes.

Do you know of any bars that broadcast other Big Sky games (NAU) in the valley, dbackjon? I'm going to call Dukes and plead my case but I only know they have ROOT Sports. Not sure about satellite coverage for other conference teams?

I'd drive up from Vegas, but you're not allowed to even fart in Utah. Fuck it.

Utahns are smart. They know that your farts melt glass.

So far this year the Lumberjacks are currently 2-3 on the road (2-2 vs FCS Competition) and judging from their stats outside of a crazy game against EWU they have not played as well on the road as they have at home. Our defense really needs to show up this game and get some turnovers since the last few games have been really close.

I had the good fortune of playing in that stadium for 4 years. While it's not the largest stadium in the fcs, it is one of the most beautiful. I wish I could have made it to tonight's game.

Fantastic game! The difference was SUU winning the turnover battle 4-0, plus a mistake on a punt snap deep in NAU territory late was the difference in this game. Give credit to SUU for forcing turnovers week and week out. That's an awesome environment to watch a football game.

Very nice. I do though prefer Towsen's stadium.
