Suu just ran a 70 yard touchdown to go up on NAU 49 to34. About a minute left to play. Great job SUU, especially after trailing most of the game!

Congrats on a great season SUU. :notworthy:

Hopefully they won't put SUU & Montana together, but there's a high probability. It's outside the bus trip range, though, so it may not happen.

Not many schools are within the bus trip range this far out west.

Well played, SUU.

I'm pulling for the Thunderbirds fan through the playoffs.

I'm thinking Sam Houston State at Southern Utah first round.

SUU has very low attendance numbers. I'd be surprised if they aren't out-bid. They were last time the two faced each other.

Looks like it's going to be Sam Houston in the first round. This will be a toughy. I'll be pulling for Montana and psu to represent. Both should do well. PSu got a first round bye so they should be well rested for the winner of Eiu/ Niu. Montana has sdsu apparently. Good luck bsc teams!

Yeah you were right and to me home field in that particular matchup is huge. Cedar City is higher elevation (5,846 feet) than Provo (4,551) and Salt Lake City (4,226). I think it definitely would've been an advantage against a team from Huntsville, Texas (371 feet). Cedar City is actually higher elevation than Denver with its famed "mile high" altitude advantage for the home team.

A shame Southern Utah let itself be out bid. I guess I understand it but I think playing at home would've really helped their chances.

I'll be pulling for Southern Utah because I don't want McNeese to have to play Sam Houston State again. I do NOT like to see the team I'm pulling for have to try to beat a team they beat during the regular season again. Last time that happened with McNeese they beat Western Kentucky 38-13 during the 2002 regular season then lost to the same team 34-14 in the championship game. Don't like it at all. But that's the way it is in the playoffs now. And I'm not real optimistic about Southern Utah beating Sam Houston State on the road. Hope I get a pleasant surprise.
