Have we seen that happen very often? I know we had a few Graduate transfers this year. Will that become more common w/ Vernon Adams success? Could we see it with underclassman as well. Do they have to sit out a year?

It's not gonna happen often because it would have to be an FCS player that would be pretty much guaranteed a starting job at a big-time school.

The key is that they need to have received their degree, their school currently does not offer a graduate program in their field and their new school does offer the program. That actually is a very narrow opportunity, when you think of it.

Interesting situation about Adams. The main talk with the Ducks was that Adams would have to learn to adjust, that basically the EWU way would not fly at Oregon or the Pac-12. After he came back from his injury, the Ducks have let Adams be Adams and (surprise) they are winning.

Griz have had two "move-ups" that I can recall (Dahl to WSU and the kicker to Texas) and both did well.

Did Dahl ever play for Montana or did he move after his Redshirt Freshman year? Punter from Weber State moved on to Michigan.

The move from Montana to Texas was probably a push, not a move up. :)

I don't believe he did. Also, we had a TE from Oregon who left after his RS year a couple years ago and is now on the Oregon State squad...
