In 1964, when Baptist College started, it was Charleston. North Charleston wasn't incorporated until 1972. Granted, they changed the name in 1991 upon gaining University status.

They aren't on our schedule this year....didn't wanna be. So...I couldn't care less what The Citadel football team is up to. They could call us the University of Highway 78 for all I care....we'd still win and do it with swagger. Speaking of El Cid....good call on not allowing the student wanting to wear the hijab. Rules are rules.

On to Fargo!!!! They said we'd never beat Liberty. Blew em out 25-0 while I was playing there. Said we'd never beat Coastal or win the Big South. Did both...more than once. Said we couldnt beat App State...did it. Said we'd never beat The Citadel. 4x in a row now. Said we'd never make playoffs....did it.

Seeing this little program that made the jump from D3 to D1 overnight in 1993....and fight and claw it's way to where it is now....has been so fun.

The Bucs will keep being told what they can't do. Our stadium is too small. School too little and out in the county. And the Bucs will keep shocking everyone. And dancing while they do it.


NDSU is gonna be the biggest FCS challenge CSU has ever faced. But....there's a 1st time for everything!!!

Oh yeah, that was the year we were 4-8. Our farewell tour where we gave damn near every team in the conference a win.

Are there upgrades planned for your stadium? I live in a town of 1,700 people. Our HS field seats as many as sections A&B in your stadium.
