Oh man oh man....there's about an 85% chance I'm gonna badly regret this thread. But I can't help it. My past threads about Citadel and Coastal almost require i do it, for nothing else but to be fair. So here goes. NDSU....your days at #1 come to an end in 14 days. The CSU Buccaneers are raising the black flag and sailing into Fargo. Same way we did first time we won at Liberty. And App State. And Coastal. And Citadel. Even with our rinky dink 4000 seat "stadium", we pack a lot of firepower.

So I now have to talk trash to the Bison the same way I did before predicting victory over other teams favored to beat us.

Where to begin. Hmmmm. Let's see. Your championships....no....scratch that. Your stadium is....no nevermind. You think you're better than you really...ummmmm....no wait a minute.

Ok here goes. Fargo is boring there's no beach! Far-Go??? More like Far-NO!!

And Bison aren't green and yellow they're brown and poop a lot. Nasty. And yall come out to Thunderstruck? Um hello.....thunder doesn't "strike", lightning does, get it right, and in a dome it can't hit you anyway, jeez.

I wish I could say that's an extreme exaggeration....but man..it's not far from reality, especially for natives of Charleston. Seems like about 1 in 50 people here is a native but still.

You just get as many Buc fans up here, take it the greatest tailgaiting in the Northern Hemisphere, I will buy yall a beer, and take it all in and see why its called Title Town FCS, just looking forward to playing a team we haven't seen before on our field. Its all good.

A Marauder and a Buccaneer seem to be similar. Both steal and plunder. Yes we are a Christian school whose mascot carries a gun and sword and partakes in theft, rape, murder, piracy and plunder. Go figure.

Gotcha, I was a graduate and a Marauder as well, great top 10 NAIA FB team until they jumped to D2 in the Northern Sun and have never been able to get more then .500 per season. They lost my support because they went to one RB, 4 wide out offense and I can't stand that. I like NDSU West Coast, Full Back, tightends, etc... good ole boy football. That is what they use to do and we're successful. Maddning!
Do you see the similarities of NDSU and Bama? Its the same style of FB. Down Hill, with a few pass plays in between, and nasty defenses. Same formula end result National Titles! Right?
When we beat the Hawkeyes in Iowa City Sept.17th, then the National Media will begin the talk of Should the Bison begin the move to FBS? Watch the sporting news the following week, I just want a hell of a game, win or lose and show we can go toe to toe with the Hawkeyes for 4 qtrs. and beat them in their house. My oh my.....

Sorry got off track, I like your coach at CSU, I think he relates the players and has the mentality to change the culture at CSU. I think you guys will be in the playoffs this December and who knows maybe we play again, I hope not, playing twice is not easy to win again, but I bet your team wins your conference this year.

Yes I definitely see the similarities in NDSU and Bama when it comes to style, culture, program, etc. I agree w you in hate the wide open offenses everyone tries to do now also. The teams winning championships mostly seem to still be playing 1990s football: Balanced and strong running offense, aggressive athletic defense. Look at em. Bama. Ohio St. FSU. NDSU. Even NFL w Denver, Baltimore, NYG, Packers, etc.

These high octane wide open offenses are great for teams who are a bit undermanned and need to try to close the gap with some open space play.

I expect CSU to win the conference also. Other than NDSU and Florida State....I think we should be favored in every game. @ Coastal maybe not. But we could easily get another home game in the playoff and who knows....maybe face NDSU in December again.

Right on, we will watch you guys after our game next week, and more then likely you guys will play a MVFC team in the playoffs as the FCS Playoff Committee has said this year they won't have MVFC teams playoff against each other and have more national teams across country play MVFC teams as we are predicted to have 6 MVFC teams in the playoffs. Tough Big Boy Football in the MVFC for sure.
Our conference makes the Bison better because the games are close but maybe one so we bang on each other.

It sounds like your coming up to Title Town next week. Enjoy the tailgaiting, its a blast outside the Dome. Big Ten or Big 12 style tailgaiting for sure. SEC is the King from what I have seen and heard. We do alright.
