NDSU slipping in the eyes of the money now -48.5. It looks to me that $400,000 wins $100 on a straight up Bison win. A straight up on Butler wins $80,000 on a $100 bet.

Tough to take the Bison without giving the points

As my uncle once told me "there's a reason your horse is 75-1... he's slow."

The odds, in this case, are pretty reflective of the reality. That said, I'll take Butler and the enormous points. Maybe they can score a few when the Bison freshman and walk-ons litter the field for the whole second half.

Doubt NDSU will cover the 48.5 points. Fresh off the presses, RFr QB Trey Lance will be the starting QB for the game.

What happened to the hot shot Iowa transfer?

He got beat out by the Freshman. Should be a good backup, if something happens to Lance.

No, we had Arden Beachy at QB back in the 1990's, first game in the Fargodome against Pittsburgh State, another all-time top 50 program, he blew his ACL out. Could have been another National Championship that year, as he was a great QB. He is now a MD in Central Minnesota. Completing that portion of his education at the Mayo Medical Center.

Butler was not a good team. We'll have a better idea after the next 3 weeks, UND, Delaware and UCD.

Gill knows what he is talking about. He went 8-0 at NDSU and then ran off 68 consecutive wins at Washington. Still a record I think.

Told you beforehand that playing non scholly Butler was a joke.

Brought in a lot of money, and a great recruiting event. 50/50 was $90,000for a lucky lady in the section next to us. My family had a great time.

NO ONE in the CAA has any business trash talking OOC schedules.

I’m not trash talking anyone’s schedule . I’m saying I (am not the only one) was right in saying beforehand that there was nothing for NDSU to worry about. Pioneer League Butler was a joke. I’m sure NDSU could have beaten them 70 to 80 to 0.

Last Thur I watched Richmond play Pioneer League Jacksonville. Richmond was up 31-6 at the half, won 38-19. Obviously could have beaten them a lot worse. And I wasn’t impressed with Richmond. Don’t see them being much if any better than last year’s 4-7/2-6. But non scholly Jacksonville literally looked like a Div III team out there.

Unfortunately JMU will be hosting Pioneer League Morehead St against next season. Last time won 80-7. Was 52-0 at the half. Could have put up 100. It was complete joke. JMU has no business scheduling a Pioneer team (outside of San Diego).
