A lot of potential bubble teams upset.
-UNI 'upset' by SDSU. UNI, 2nd? toughest schedule in country falls to 5-6/4-4 and are done.
-WIU upset by SIU. WIU falls to 6-5/3-5 and are likely done.
-Montana upset by Montana St. MT falls to 6-5/3-5, no I-A games, are done.
-Samford upset by ETSU. Samford falls to 7-4/4-3 with a Div II. On bubble.

What I'm seeing (could be wrong here). 21 definites:
CAA: JMU (10-1/8-0), UR (8-3/5-3), VU (8-3/6-2), UNH (7-4/6-2)
So-Con: Citadel (10-1/8-0), Chatty (8-3/6-2), Wofford (8-3/6-2)
MVFC: NDSU (10-1/7-1), SDSU (8-3/7-1), YSU (8-3/6-2)
Big Sky: EWU (10-1/8-0), ND (9-2/8-0) Weber (7-4/6-2), CP/NC winner (7-4/5-3)
Southland: SHSU (10-1/9-0), UCA (9-2/8-1)
OVC: JSU (10-1/7-0)
Big South: CSU (7-3/5-1)
Patriot: Lehigh (9-2/6-0)
NEC: StFU (7-4/5-1)
Pioneer: San Diego (9-1/8-0)
At least 6 contenders for last 3 spots:
-Samford (7-4/5-3) They have OOC win @ playoff UCA and a Div 2 win. Loss @ Miss St. Think they're in.
-ILSU (6-5/4-4) 0-3 over the 3 MVFC playoff teams. Big 10 win over Northwestern. Would be 4th MVFC in (Last 32 seasons MVFC had 5).
-SELA (7-4/7-2). We're smoked by UCA. Didn't play SHSU. Best win over 6-5 McNeese.
-Albany (7-4/4-4) Win over a bad G5 (Buffalo). 2-2 vs playoff (Lost @ VU, beat UNH & StFU OOC. Bad loss at home to UD). They might be in.
-Fordham (8-3/5-1). Didn't beat anybody, but have been in the last 3 seasons.
-NC A&T (9-2/7-1): Beat a bad G5 in Kent St. Didn't win MEAC so won't get to play in the Celebration 'Bowl' between the MEAC & SWAC winners.

STfu beat Duquesne. They get the NEC auto bid.

Sanford has wins against 2 playoff teams. ISUr has an FBS win, a win against what will be a seeded SDSU, and a decent win against WIU. Albany has an FCS win, and wins over 2 playoff teams in SFU and UNH.
Those are your last three in.

Hoping to see Weber State selected. But if they don't it was still a good season. First 7 win season since 2009
Go Weber

I think you're right there, but man was that loss a bad one. Samford had a sure thing and they might've blown it.

I'll go out on a limb and say the last 3 spots go to Samford, ILSU and Albany.

I am shocked. The NCAA blew this one. If you don't send your champion, you don't get a spot at the table. HUGE mistake.

23 of 24 correct. NC A&T getting in over Albany is a joke. Both beat crappy MAC teams, but Albany was 2-2 vs playoff teams. NC A&T other than their Kent St win beat a D II and 7 I-AA cupcakes..

1. That isn't an actual rule.
2. The NCAA doesn't choose the field.

Nice work Mvem. Ripped the tits off of it.
If they are eligible & good enough, they get a shot.

Right, it's not like the teams in the MEAC necessarily wanted to ditch the auto-bid. They didn't have a choice.
I wonder what would happen if an Ivy League team publicly announced they were willing to violate Ivy rules and wanted to be selected.

I didn't know the teams in the MEAC didn't have a choice to forego the auto bid.

NCA&T has Tarik Cohen, the number two rusher in FCS, and the committee matched them up against a team with QB issues and who just gave up 219 yards to one RB on Saturday. Maybe it is the plan to get the MEAC a playoff win in the hopes that other MEAC teams will push to abandon the Celebration bowl.

The schools obviously did, but I don't know about the teams.
