-24 straight wins, 2nd longest in I-AA history.
-15 straight home wins.
-51 straight games scoring at least 20 points, going all the way back until the 1st game of the 2014 season, the beginning of the 2 year Everett Withers as HC & Vad Lee at QB, when JMU was crushed @ UMD 52-7.
-13 straight games never given up more than 14 points. Of the last 18, the only one gave up more than 14 2x: 22 to UNH in last hyear's qtr final game, when JMU was up 55-15, and UNH scored with under a minute against JMU's backups, and 17 to NDSU in the semis.
-17 of last 18 wins by double digits..

Athlons has a good preview. 2 QBs have EERILY similar #s (except Schor has thrown more picks this year (11 compared to 6 last year).

Yep. Also added 17 of the last 18 wins have been by double digits. Had won 15 straight by double digits, a streak that started after the UR game last year, and ended with the UR game this year..

The 24 straight wins is the 2nd longest in I-AA history. I think NDSU has the longest at 33 from 2012-14. Highly likely JMU's ends somewhere between 24 to 27. If JMU wins the NC (I'd put the odds now about the same as NDSU, who has an easier road) as 1 in 3, JMU opens next season (after ton of senior losses) at NC State..

Apparently Weber flew in yesterday and did some sightseeing in DC today. I hope they did lots of sightseeing..

Seriously its pretty cool they got to see stuff, esp Arlington National Cemetary. I'm sure for a lot of their kids it was the 1st time to DC. Some of them won't get another another opportunity to come for years, decades, or may never..

Dealing with the same Fri night attendance inhibiting factors as last year Fri night ESPN quarterfinal game:
-Bulk of fan base 2-3 hr drive (DC/No Va, Richmond area, Tidewater). A lot of people have to leave early from work to make game. DC area hellacious Fri PM traffic.
-Weather. Last year 26 degrees at kickoff, low 20s by end of game. Today's forecast 30 degrees at kickoff.
-All the usual Christmas Party stuff..

Could even have less than the announced 15,646 for last year's Fri night televised ESPN2 qtr final vs SHSU because most JMU fans are assuming a win tonight and hosting next weekend, likely Fri night. For some of them that can't get off work early 2 Fridays in a row, they're skipping this game and hoping for a semi final game..Suspect it will be a later arriving crowd. I wouldn't be surprised with only 10k at kickoff and less than 15k peak by 2nd qtr. Sucks..

I was hoping for a 3.5 hour drive tonight, but got stuck with 11am game. 3.5 hour drive in the morning now.
