Congratulations to the Bizon for winning their sixth title and Congrats to JMU for a terrific season. Hopefully Weber will once again be in the mix next season.
Who's waiting in the wings behind Johnson, Vollert, Harry, and Cantwell?

The big question is, will Delaware and NDSU play each other twice next season?
Not unless it's in the first round.

I'm not too concerned with replacing Johnson, Vollert, and Harry, Weber had a plethora of young Talent at those positions especially Rashid Shaheed and Tyjuan Smith at WR, and Benjamin and Hoskins on the defense. I am more concerned about our defensive line and linebackers which was hit pretty hard by graduation. Our center and entire right side of our offensive line were all freshmen and on the other side one was a junior and one was a sophomore so I'm not worried there. Also The quarterback is a Big Issue. I do not want to see SUU offensive player of the game Justin Shaw as our starting quarterback. I would actually prefer it if Weber started incoming freshman and Washington native Kaden Jenks of Royal City High School. The kid was 27-0 during his starting junior and senior seasons, after watching film of him he reminds me of Cantwell. Big fast kid with a stronger and more accurate arm. Weber's season may have growing pains during the season but I think it will be worth it for the kid to start.

Holy crap. Finally got a chance to watch the game and JMU was the better team, but NDSU did their usual solid execution for the win. Congrats Bison.

It's amazing to me that NDSU was able to win without its starting corners. To me it really looked like JMU had a big advantage in the receivers vs. cornerbacks matchups. But somehow it didn't kill them. Part of it was JMU receivers dropping a lot of passes. But it still amazed me that NDSU was able to win with that chink in its armour.

And it IS true that North Dakota State was able to run the ball better. Not overwhelming but better. It's like I said in an earlier post the rushing stats are kind of distorted in that JMU had 24 yards on a fake punt and NDSU lost 27 yards on that final play where the QB ran around backwards to run out the clock. You take those two plays out and look at what the offenses did on normal plays and NDSU had a 161 to 69 edge in rushing yards. if you just look at the 161 yards rushing they had until intentionally losing 27 on the last play that was a pretty decent day against a team that gave up only 87 rushing yards per game in its previous contests.

I think NDSU was the more physical team. Not by a lot. But they were by a little bit in that game. At the same time I thought JMU looked like the more athletic team.

So Appy moved up from a 1.0 share to a 1.0 share. Congrats!

They did better than Marshall and Troy at least.

NDSU dropping like 3 regular season games and not getting a bye  Yeah that’s not happening. NDSU doesn‘t play 1st round games.
