I thought the Southland "worst performance" award was going to be between McNeese and Sam Houston.

McNeese has no offense. It's really bad. I watched the game and what happened is Incarnate Word had a great game plan and executed well on offense to grab a lead. It got expanded by two McNeese turnovers and all of a sudden it was 28-3. In the second half it looked like McNeese's defense made adjustments and did much better. But there was yet another turnover...a pick six at desperation time...to further inflate the score.

The offense is awful. Incarnate Word is very good on offense but it has the worst defense in the Southland and McNeese could not move the ball. I think they have serious offensive line problems. They've got three running backs who have done very well in the past and now they can't get anything. Also the quarterback is under constant pressure.

They pretty much have to keep games close with their defense to have a shot and if they fall behind by multiple scores they are in serious trouble.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?
