Hendricks is the Wisconsin Offensive Player of the Year and Reed Ryan is the Wisconsin Defensive Player of the year. Probably too small for the Stinkin Badgers.

Pft...wait till SACCAT posts the Montana State class...expect recruits like # 1 rated Australian Rules football kicker, POY’s from every region of the country, LB’s that run 4.3’s, and Troy Anderson’s cousin who was offered a Rhodes Scholarship for authoring an updated version of The Delaware Wing-T but turned it down to play football in Bozeman and rescue injured grizzly cubs in the summers.

Those schools did take a look at Legg. However, I don't know if they offered him anything.

I've said it a few times. Portland State has always been able to get the talent. Its just getting the talent to gel on the field that has been the issue. 2017 showed us that you can't win games with 11 players playing their own game out there.

"FCS: James Madison Keeps Standout Recruiting Class Mostly Intact

The 2019 James Madison football signing class isn't the biggest (due to a small 2018 senior class), but it certainly packs a big punch.

The Dukes signed eight players in December and signed five more today...

...Julio Ayamel is the No. 1 ranked recruit in the CAA and the No. 3 ranked linebacker in the FCS. Jalen Green, who will play defensive line for the Dukes, is the No. 3 ranked recruit in the CAA and the No. 4 linebacker in the FCS. Both made it official today.

JMU did lose notable commitments of Rick D'Abreu (No. 6 recruit in the CAA and No. 4 overall defensive linemen) and three-star quarterback Knox Kadum.

But overall, and especially with a new coaching staff, the Dukes did a fantastic job of holding off FBS teams to secure one of the top recruiting classes in the FCS.

From the CAA recruit rankings released 1.5 weeks ago, the Dukes now have the No. 1, No. 3, No. 9, No. 13, No. 16. No. 18 and No. 26 of the Top 30 inked and on board. That's more than half of their recruiting class looked at as top CAA prospects.

Couple that with JMU's No. 5 ranked recruiting class last year and its No. 2 recruiting class in 2017 and the future is as bright as its ever been for the Dukes."

-Abreu was poached by ECU after Mike Houston said he wouldn't recruit any of JMU's commits. Fucking liar.
-Kadum briefly committed to JMU in Jan, then decommitted & committed to VA Tech after they offered late after they had a 2nd QB transfer out.

3 out of top 4-5 recruits out of one HS. Don't think JMU has every signed 3 out of 1 HS before. Heck, I can't remember 2 out of 1 HS before (excluding walkons), but it has probably happened before. Good Counsel HS was very good for JMU.

The biggest thing to me is that McNeese got the the guys from relatively far away that were high priority and "iffy." It was an interesting recruiting season since McNeese changed head coaches and this was the first time they went outside of the existing house since 1990. 1990 was when Bobby Keasler was hired as head coach. Keasler left for Louisiana Monroe after the 1998 season and they promoted defensive coordinator Kirby Bruchhaus. then Bruchhaus got in trouble for gambling and they promoted defensive coordinator Tommy Tate. Then Tommy Tate got in trouble and they promoted offensive coordinator Matt Viator. Then Matt Viator went to Louisiana Monroe and they promoted defensive coordinator Lance Guidry. Now after firing Guidry they've gone completely outside and it looks like they may be expanding their recruiting area some.

That’s not what you read- it said JMU got 2 of the top recruits nationally. Pointed out a 3rd that decomitted (to ECU). It said JMU got 7 of the top 30 in the CAA recruit rankings, not national. They claimed to do the rankings based soley on HS recruits & the # of cumulative scholly offers a class has (not stars), with G5 and P5 offers counting for more points. So bigger HS classes would have an advantage over smaller (JMU only signed 13 due to a small Sr class last year). HERO’s 1st article still made it sound like they still had JMU tops in the CAA, but obviously their subsequent article/rankings have VU higher. Pretty good for JMU with the coaching change & 100% new staff though.

It was never more than maybe 30% when I was there 30 years ago. I think it's getting closer to 40% now that they do guaranteed enrollment.

I'm surprised SACCAT hasn't posted ours yet. I assume it's due to the new recruits having so many accolades and awards that he can't get it pared down to fit on the board.
