Saw this posted on our board a while back. Not sure the total year count, but yes he has 2 seasons left. Here is the Hornetsports release:

In a nearly unprecedented decision, the NCAA granted Thomson a two-year extension to his clock. The quarterback transferred to Sacramento State prior to the 2017 season which was believed to be his junior year. Instead, Thomson will take the field in 2019 as a junior and could play again in 2020.

Honest question, what the Gucci is he going school for that they can also justify him needing also needing 7 years of school?

I fucked around in undergrad, changed a major twice, and took grad school at 80% capacity and I finished all of it in 6 total.

Is he gonna full 5 to 6 year undergrad and a year or two master program?

Will he be enrolled in a PhD or EdD program? No way in hell you could manage a digital program and football

I looked. He's a Business Admin major

A Bus Admin and MBA program is not 7 years.
