Jesus Chase and Tel looked like beasts, TBF, not so much.

And how about the speed of the DB on that first play of the video! DAYUM!

Speed, skill, strength, all of those can be seen from a spring game.

Doesn't matter too much really and we all pretty much know that. Thing is that it is something to at least talk about as far as football goes...correct?

relative to who? each other? Montana's best back looks great untill he meet MSU's, EWU's & ISU's first team defense.

Not trying to talk smack here, BUT...

Chase ran for:
64 against EWU - lowest of his starts, not counting Richmond because he didn't see the ball enough times
153 against ISU
129 against MSU

So I don't think he'll be too worried about their 1st team defenses until they prove they can stop him. And if Dan Moore stays in shape and is ready for the season opener, then God help you all. The kid is a beast and will open up canyons for Chase and Tel to run through.

What are you talking about here? Montana's best back rolled against your 1st team D and MT's backup avg. was 4.6/carry against ISU, I can get the other stats but I thought I'd give you the one's for ISU first.

Chase Reynolds 18 153 8.5/carry
Andrew Schmidt 10 46 4.6/carry

His nose got bloodied there and he'll be back in a minute...I honestly didn't even know it was 8.5/carry until he posted the ISU first team defense thing. 8-)

If last year is any indication, Idaho State's first team defense makes every back look good. The Bengals were 6th. worst nationally in run defense (232 ypg) and 3rd. worst in yards-per-carry defense (6.0 ypc).
