Best Performance: (#25) Montana 31, South Dakota 17 - Dalton Sneed throws for 427 yards and accounts for all 4 Griz touchdowns in an important road win.
Worst Performance: Southern Utah 23, (FBS) UNLV 56 - The T-Birds are outrushed 331-46 by a weak FBS in a game that was actually less competitive than the final score would indicate.
Most Surprising Result: Portland St. 13, (FBS) Arkansas 20 - I guess the Oddsshark people were on to something here.

Most Surprising Result: Southeastern Louisiana 35, (#6) Jacksonville St. 14 - This upset was even more surprising because SELU had started at least 0-2 in each of the past 3 seasons.

Best Performance: Davidson 27, Georgetown 20 - The Wildcats show some perseverance by pulling out a victory after blowing a 20-0 halftime lead.

Most Surprising Result: Davidson 27, Georgetown 20 - Davidson gets their first win over a non-Pioneer DI opponent since their last win over Georgetown in 2005.
May have been a bad week for wins by the MVFC, most of those games went as expected. A lot of people are over looking North Alabama. They are probably a 20-25 team if they are eligible for polls.

I still doubt that. The Lions weren't anywhere near a top-25 team last year, so I'm skeptical they've improved that much.

Didn't think they were that far behind Delaware last year, after seeing both play live in Fargo.

Like I posted in the Week 1 score thread, JMU outgained WVU 328-294. WVU was suppose to have a good rushing game, but JMU held them to 34 yds rushing. The difference in the game was 3 JMU turnovers to 0 for WVU, & JMU had a blocked chip shot FG. Surprisingly JMU looked like the more dominant team in both sides of the LOS for much of the game. https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/40056723
Also must say the WVU fan reputation towards opposing fans is underserved from what I personally saw & experienced & from what JMU fans did (whole thread on the JMU board about this).
