UND won 10 of 13, 5 against coach Babich, after NDSU won 12 straight. NDSU played UND when NDSU was NAIA and UND was NCAA College Division. I've seen enough Bison vs UND games. I'd rather see someone new coming into Fargo, like North Alabama last year. They just happen to be on the schedule now, so I'll see them from time to time.Silenoz wrote:Weren't they smoking your ass around then anyways? And then you only wanted to play them when you were safely above them in divisions?Gil Dobie wrote:
You have been reading the Grand Forks Herald. It was 4 years, home and home.
But..............
UND, citing the Division II playoff selection format which hurt teams for playing Division I opponents, declined to continue the series in 2004.

This is not directed at you Gil, but maybe it's something that coincides with the most insecure/attention whore while successful fan base that doesn't have a reason to be either one of those two things?Gil Dobie wrote:UND won 10 of 13, 5 against coach Babich, after NDSU won 12 straight. I picked the SDSU game. Unique in a lot of ways the game should be a showcase for the Jacks offensive talent. The Jacks are my second favorite team after UNI. It’s a lot of fun going to games in both towns.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Gil is one of the exceptions to the insecure aspect of the fanbase.kalm wrote:This is not directed at you Gil, but maybe it's something that coincides with the most insecure/attention whore while successful fan base that doesn't have a reason to be either one of those two things?Gil Dobie wrote:

I still don't see the 3OT thriller as a choice.
Let's try to put a little thought into this thread next week.

It's hard for 89, he's forgotten that UD football exists. Have pity.93henfan wrote:I still don't see the 3OT thriller as a choice.

With one simple post in the game thread I made about it (the fake FG) yesterday, they ended up starting a whole new poll thread about whether it was a dick move.
They deflected and tapdanced.
You called them insecure.
I declared my moral victory.
Fun stuff.
Now I can avoid AGS again for several years, sleeping very well.

That was fun. I love stirring up the Bison faithful. Kalm's quote is so spot on about many Bison posters.93henfan wrote:We won that thread.UNI88 wrote:

The poll has 112 posts and counting as they twist themselves into rhetorical pretzels explaining why when their team does something it isn't a dick move. But it's an echo chamber of Bison fans so the fanatics will see each others' posts as fact and all dissenting posts as heresy.

Meanwhile, on GoHens, I decided to argue the other way.
If the Hens didn't like it, they should have stopped it.
I'm an asshole, I know.
