2019 schedules thread was last posted on back in March. Thought I'd start a 2020 one, as a lot of teams already have 2020 schedules released.
JMU's was released yesterday:
@ UNC was scheduled for the last game, but the JMU beat writer reported on 10/31 that the UNC game had been moved to Sept, leaving JMU scrambling to find a last week opponent at a relative last minute. Came up with Merrimack College, who along with Long Island Univ, are both in their 1st season of Div I, and are joining the 45 scholly limit NEC.

JMU will as of now be breaking in 11 new starters, replacing probably 10 of 15-16 All CAA, and a 1/2 doz All Americans. That includes breaking in a new QB.

So only a 20 point favorite.
Maybe Rocco needs just 1 more season to get the Hens turned around..

Who did UD piss off at the CAA scheduling dept? Opening with back to back CAA road games, 1 of them JMU to boot. I don't think I've ever seen a CAA team open with 1st 2 games CAA- those 1st 2 are usually OOC, or 1 OOC/1 CAA. Definitely haven't ever seen opening with CAA back to back road games. VERY STRANGE.

Some.speculation that UD AD may have asked for it to save face on the slow moving construction. New press level was supposed to be ready for 2019. It's still just a box of beams at the moment.
And Rocco should have been fired already. He's terrible. Delaware football will enter its tenth season of mediocre football, completing our lost decade. If they don't fire him on Monday after we lose for the 13th time in the last 14 games against Villanova tomorrow, I pray we go like 3-8 next year to force the AD's hand.

I don't know how reputable this is (www.fbsschedules.com), but they show THIS as Sac's schedule next year (all times/TB TBA). I'm not thrilled with two FBS's AND an entire MONTH outside Hornet Stadium to open the season. I also don't like having a D-II, either, but Dixie IS #10 in Super Region IV and ORV in the last Coaches Poll of the season this year. There's no indication of whether or not we have one of those bogus in-conference OOC games, either.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I believe Dixie State is FCS transitional next year. They are moving to DI (WAC) in basketball.
Huge home games with the Griz, Weber, and the Cats and we rarely get two September FCS home games. Dback, it's high time for you see the most beautiful artificial turf on the planet.

Well its an 11 game season and you already have 3 OOC games scheduled so that would be weird if you did.

Brutal start, brutal finish.
Maybe. AZ will be tough, of course, but if ANYONE in the Pac-12 is ripe for the proverbial "scalp," it's Oregon State.
As for the tail end, that will depend on whether or not your Eagles recover from their swoon this year (I, for one, believe that said swoon is "one and done," as they say) and Sac maintains what we've achieved this year. I think we will, but the Manure Pile showed how quickly it can all slip away. PSU has been "hovering" for several years now, and 2020 could well be their break-through year, particularly since that large middle section of the schedule (once they're past the Kitties) is fairly easy....

I believe Dixie State is FCS transitional next year. They are moving to DI (WAC) in basketball.
So, are they going independent in football? Or are they getting the "sweetheart deal" Cow Poly and the Manure Pile have to join the Big Sky as associate members for football only? That would help us get closer to my dream (admittedly, it's likely a pipe dream and no more) of resurrecting the PCAA by splitting the Sky into two FCS leagues, which would require a new team in the East (I'd foreseen Colorado School of Mines, but Dixie being in UT would also serve in that capacity), getting San Jose State to drop like Idalol has done, and (the hardest part) getting UOP to resurrect their program. Having a PCAA stretching from NAU to at least PSU (and perhaps even EWU) would seriously control travel costs for the conference portion of the schedule for those of us out here, and the presence of a second FCS league would make OOC scheduling much easier, thereby reducing the need to waste OOC games with bodybag FBS and D-IIs....

Maybe. You never know how it will play out. We thought this year was going to be tough, but as it turned out, we avoided three of the top teams in the conference (Weber, Sac State and Montana State).
