After watching the last two games, I am not sure what to think about our offense.
Defense is playing good though.

No, last year MSU was VERY average. They were fortunate to get into the playoffs and met or exceeded their talent level while losing by 40+ points.
The Bobcats are playing considerably better this year. Also NDSU is playing quite suspect the past few weeks.
Still gotta take the Bison.

Well, yes I suppose. didn’t MSU just beat the Grizz by 10 TDS or something.
I would say getting to Fargo to play football on the Big Stage in the FCS playoffs makes a team a little above average, wouldn’t you agree?

I think he is talking about 2018, the year that ended in the 52-10 loss to NDSU in the second round.
Yes MSU was average that year, and yes they beat the griz in Missoula that year.

From FCS Playoffs Round 4:
MSU came into Fargo in 2018 avg 227 rushing and 139 passing. they got 177 yds rushing and 124 passing. They had a rushing TD.
MSU normally gave up 188 yds rushing/game but the Bison put up 407 and 7 TDs. They were able to hold the Bison to 86 yds passing. Normally they gave up 216/game.
They were a little above avg on defense playing on a 102 yd field. A little above avg on offense playing on an 84 yd field.
This year MSU is playing defense on a 117 yd field and offense on a 90 yds.
The Bison are on a 160 yd field defensively and 89 yds offensively.
The teams look a lot like they did last year. The GAM had it NDSU 35 MSU 22. this year its NDSU 25-21. Your defense has improved a bit as shown by the longer field in 2019 than 2018. It promises to be a better game.
I guess on BV anyway its 'tana State.

The Bobcats had little trouble with a hot Austin Peay squad while NDSU failed to score a touchdown in the win over ISU(r), so are the Bison ripe for an upset? I don't really think so. The fact this game is in the Fargo Dome will be big, IMO, as is the fact that the Bison have only committed 5 turnovers on the season. It won't be nearly as ugly as NDSU's Bobcat feast from last year's playoffs, but it won't be a Bobcat win either. The Bison go back to Frisco… *sigh*… again.

I guess if you're a North Dakota State fan you say they did a great job of breaking tackles but MAN Montana State did a REALLY poor job of tackling during the first North Dakota State drive.
