First the APR thing making them ineligible for 2020 post season. Now the head coach they hired a year ago headed to be Syracuse Offensive Coordinator:

Just in time for the second signing day. Oh well, Ferris State's coach wanted the job last year. Maybe he'll apply again.

McNeese has replaced Gilbert with recently fired UTSA head coach Frank Wilson. He went 19-29 in four seasons with the Roadrunners (1 bowl appearance) and hasn't been involved with the I-AA/FCS ranks since his last playing season at Nicholls (1996).

Yes. The hope is, I think, that he will be really good at bringing a high level of talent for a FCS program in that area of the country. He is very well regarded by high school coaches in Louisiana and Texas and he has a history as a great recruiter. At least at the Power 5 level. FCS is a different thing. We'll see how he does.
