FCS Coaching Salaries

Post by 93henfan »

Post 'em up.

I don't think any other school can beat Delaware for doing less with more.

Danny Rocco pulled in $609,167 total compensation in 2017. He even got a $150K bonus for missing the playoffs.

I thought UNI got a meh ROI with about 450-500k for Farley. At least we get to the playoffs.

These seem to be some pretty weird numbers. Who comes up with this stuff?

Was reported over a year ago when JMU‘s hired Curt Cignetti was for 6 years/425k base a year. Don‘t know what the incentives are.

The assistant pool for a staff of 12 (including strength coach & Dir of Football Ops) is 1.073 million, ranging between 50k-150k (DC).
https://jamesmadison.rivals.com/news/jm ... -1-million

2018 Mike Houston, from an old post back in 2018:
If I'm reading what's been reported on Houston's contract right and my math isn't jacked up:
$515,311 base ($390,311 + $125,000 from "anonymous donors').
$50,000 retention bonus on Feb. 1.
$565,311 2018 guaranteed.

All of his bonuses and incentives stay the same from the initial extension he inked after the 2016 season. Max possible according to the below article $145,625:
$31,250 making playoffs.
$5,000 winning CAA.
$46,875 winning 3 playoff games ($15,625 per playoff win).
$31,250 making NC game.
$31,250 winning NC.
https://jamesmadison.rivals.com/news/ho ... -big-raise

Total max possible 2018: $710,936 ($565,311 guaranteed + $145,625 max performance incentives)

Think there's some ancillary stuff like country club dues & car payments, but I don't feel like looking it up..
..peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard..
..But you have to go home now. We have to have peace…
..I know how you feel, but go home, and go home in peace.

Sears was getting paid about $200k base salary. So about $100k per win in a typical Sears season. I've heard Taylor makes north of $250k/year although I don't recall seeing an exact number.
