BSC teams held the 2,3,and 4 SOS last year with 5 total in the top 25 SOS to the Valley’s 3.

2 things

1. MVFC teams would hold more top spots too if we got to play 6 games against the bottom of half of the BSC too
2. Remember what I said about Davis last year to you? Make Sac State that team this year. Book it.

You were spot on my friend. Nailed it.

I was just busting Gil’s chops a little. The conferences are comparable in SoS and then there’s everyone else.

Difference is the dungpilers did their damage with a weaker schedule in 2018. Then couldn't hang with a tougher schedule in 2019. We'll be going in the opposite direction in SOS from 2019 to 2020. Losing Thomson is a huge hit, but Dunniway looked damn good in that epic comeback from behind win at Flagstaff and I trust Taylor's system will plug and chug on the offensive side. I'm more worried about filling all the defensive graduations than filling Thomson's void.

NAU's defense was awful last year, though. I mean, Mason Petrino—Mason Petrino—put up 556 yards of total offense and 7 total touchdowns against them.

Lot's of defenses in the BSC are trash, and Flagstaff is a place the Hornets have been terrible at. It was a big win for a QB's first D1 start.

Yup. He's from WA and their roster looks young so he has a good chance to win the starting role. Interestingly enough we play them in week 2.

Troy Taylor, like Baldwin, can develop QB talent.

 We're are definitely not a better team with Thomson's departure, but Talyor recruited a 3* QB this incoming class. I'm looking forward to his development over the coming years. For this season, the favorite has to be Dunniway to get the nod.

Do we play them this year?

Is Sac playing football this year?

Are WE playing football this year?

Ah whatever, I'll check in to see who NDSU romped in the championship.

The Griz will play this year, but they won't be allowed to leave the state so they'll play a Frontier Conference schedule. :coffee:

Blue Ponies Stadium?

Heck, it's better than ours.

Although it could use a freeway nearby.

Yeah. MSUN is apparently building an on-campus stadium, but I'm not sure when it's supposed to be done.

Never watched college football in Havre. When I was at Rocky, Northern wasn't playing football. I watched college football in Dillon. That was bad enough.

I would love to watch a Vikings game at Providence from the Multnomah Athletic Club.

Or anywhere inside the Park.
