Maybe they won't suck at football for a couple of years. Wesley is pretty good in D3.

Wesley is a financial basket case. I think Tony Allen just wanted to acquire some snazzy new administrative offices. And Wesley hasn’t competed at the same level in FB since Mike Drass died.

He died before the 2018 season and they missed the playoffs, but they were right back last year and won a game, handily. They were always a solid playoff squad, but not as good as the MU's and WW's in the division.
UD folks already taking about trying to poach Fry. There's FCS talent on the Wesley squad. More than DelState has by far.

SU beat them, and the Gulls went farther in the playoffs than Wesley did. Anyway, this acquisition has nothing to do with football. DSU needs a lot more than a few players from a D-III school.

This gets them white women. Everyone is looking for white women.

The last Wesley enrollment stats I saw — for 2017, I think — showed about 38% black, 35.5% white, less than 7% Hispanic, 5% biracial, and very few Asians. The numbers didn’t add up to 100%, but they showed a black plurality. That surprised me.

They must be including the homeless and the dealers on N Queen St in that count.

Dover is a damn shooting gallery now. New Street in particular. It will be like Pine Street in Wilmington soon.

The whole state is becoming a festering shithole that I cannot wait to leave.
