Clint Stapp is a promising young signal-caller.

2006: He played in 13 games, mostly as a holder for field goals and PATs.

2005: He was a redshirt at Montana.

High school: He led Niwot High School to a 12-1 record and the state semi-finals his senior year...his senior season he completed more than 60% of his passes, throwing for 2,197 yards and 25 touchdowns, and rushed for six touchdowns....chosen all-state and Colorado's 3A Offensive Player of the Year in 2004...also named All-Region, All-Area and the All-Area Offensive Player of the Year...tabbed his conference's offensive MVP...also team MVP and offensive MVP and captain as a senior...high school football coach was Ron Tesone...lettered in basketball and baseball.

Career highs: He had a 21-yard run at Weber State last season on a fake field goal. He passed for 21 yards against South Dakota State.

Personal: He is a business administration major. His parents are Art and Debbi Stapp of Niwot. Birth date: July 20, 1986. His older brother Brion was a quarterback at Holy Cross from 1994-98.
