Mostly FBS crossover games:
Memphis State 56, Stephen F. Austin 14 (SFA played them close early.)
FBS #8 BYU 66, N. Alabama 14 (Why did BYU even bother?)
Eastern Kentucky 49, Western Carolina 17
Virginia 55, Abilene Christian 15
In games involving recent FCS move-ups:
FBS #15 Coastal Carolina 34, Appalachian State 23 (Interesting fact: App State hasn't beaten an FBS ranked team since they beat #5 Michigan back in thier FCS days. Will #10 Wisconsin's bad loss to #19 Northwestern help the Chants?)
Florida Atlantic 24, UMASS 2 (Is it time for a return to FCS when the only score you can get against a nobody is a blocked punt out of the end zone?)
NC State 15, FBS #21 Liberty 14 (Three picks will beat you even when your defense is up to par.)
Georgia State 21, S. Alabama 14
Army 28, Georgia Southern 27 (Blocked PAT dooms Eagles. Special teams mistakes gets you every time.)

FCS Games This Week

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

There is just a huge spread between the top 10 and the soft middle.
