This one should be fun. I’m rooting for Montana State, because the daughter of one of my lodge brothers in Slower Lower went there.

SDSU’s low scoring games came when they couldn’t run the ball (UNI, USD, UND). The exception was the NDSU game.

Montana state stops the run very well and has the safeties to limit big passing plays.

If Mellott doesn’t turn the ball over, I can see the cats winning in a low scoring affair.

A week ago I had So. Dakota State beating Sam Houston State in "this" semi-final. Now I've come around to believing the bobcats will be going to the Championship.

They're riding a huge wave of momentum. They haven't hosted a semi-final since Ronald Reagan was President. Distraught fans were about to burn all their 'cat' gear after the beatdown from the Grizzlies. Those same fans are now more than willing to spend $300 for a hotel room so they can attend this historic game. They are going to fill their stadium with thousands of fans inoculated from the cold by Fireball. By a long shot, this is going to be most daunting environment the Jackrabbits have seen this year. Not quite to the level of the "Mecca of FCS Football", but between their fired up team, and overly giddy crowd, this should be an impressive showing in Bozeman.

As Kalm pointed out, as long as "Touchdown Tommy" doesn't become "Turnover Tommy" (which is a possibility) Montana State wins. Rather than 6 points, cats win probably by at least a two score margin. Book it Danno.

Last week one if the commentators in the SDSU/VU game said SDSU had only 1 season ending injury this season. If that’s true then they must have magic team doc, head trainer and stength coach, or the biggest golden horseshoe..

Good question, Venus. If it's the good half, they're done. If it's the bad half, we could be looking at an intra-conference battle in the Chipper. I don't think that does anybody outside the MVFC any good, and gives them all the more reason to play P5-olitics on the rest of us....
