Troy Andersen got the most first-place votes (15), but he only got 9 combined second/third/fourth/fifth-place votes. It seems most voters either put Andersen first, or they didn't put him on the ballot at all.

Patrick O'Connell got 11 first-place votes (the same as Land), but he only got 1 second-place vote compared to Land's 9.

While I would like to have seen this go to Munchie Filer III, it REALLY should have gone to Patrick O'Connell....

Yep. And then the following week JMU’s DL dominated the SELA OL. Yeah, the FAMU kid put up big defensive #s, but was playing against weak competition.

This is why I personally think North Carolina A&T and Hampton both left the MEAC due to the fact this league along with the SWAC turned in their AQ PLAYOFF CARDS.Now that these schools are starting to recruit much better talent they need to play against tougher competition especially when it comes to the postseason to show their numbers are not done against weaker competition.I want to see a game featuring Jackson St vs.North Dakota St.This yr A&T will be playing in a game vs.NDSU I hope it will be seen on ESPN.

A&T had a guy DB Franklin McCain who was considered to be a legit NFL PROSPECT and had he not gotten injured during his sophomore yr he might have been drafted.I thought he was a POOR MAN'S DARRYL GREEN with surprising height 6'0 180 with 4.45 speed right now he is with the Philadelphia Eagles.

 Land had 6 tackles, 1.5 TFL’s, and one sack against the only decent teams he played…JSU and South Florida. SELA shut him out.

This is why I wished that the SWAC still had its AQ PLAYOFF STATUS just to see our best and brightest go up against the the cream of the crop of FCS talent.
