I-AA Game of the Week, Week 6

Post by UNI88 »

These are ONLY I-AA vs I-AA games and start your own poll if you don't like the selections.

What is the I-AA Game of the Week?"

UD on the road in a tough in-conference game. UD still has a road tilt at Elon later this month, a home game against Richmond in early November, and the annual hatefest with nova at the end of the year. UD comes out of this game like they did the road game against URI and UD might be favored in every game the rest of the way. Could be a special team this year - loaded with 5th and 6th year players (thanks COVID) and finally a coach that knows what to do with them. Gotta keep winning though, getting a full slate of playoff games in Newark will be key for this group.

I’ll take Griz over Bye in a walkover.

I don't mind the selections, but he needs to include records. By week 6 obviously you're only going with teams with winning records, but who's 3-2, 4-1, and 5-0.

I don't like ECBing it, but in THIS case, there's no other real choice given. I can't even go off the board with the homer pick, either, because Sac's playing bottom-feeder N. Colorado. That's likely to be another Sac blowout.

One MIGHT be able to say that next week we finally get a decent game (EWU), but a better pick will be the week after when we host the Griz....

Choice is pretty obvious this time. Has to be Delaware and W&M.

Though Delaware should watch out for fake field goal attempts.
