Looks like it might be delayed...at least in terms of being on ESPN2. The C. Florida-S. Florida game may go long. S. Florida just took the lead 39-38 4Q after being down 28-0 late in 2Q. Man, S. Florida's uniforms are blinding. Almost as bad as the Seahawks ColorRush uniforms a few years back....

It finally came on ESPN2 after the UCF-USF game came down to a botched Hail Mary with 4 seconds left. UCF wins due to a botched officiating call on an OBJ-type catch where the dude came down out of bounds, but they gave him the touchdown anyway.

On the one hand, the Griz have NO pass pro going on right now. Heck, the OL isn't even run blocking well. But on the other hand, the Griz special teams are doing VERY well. That was an incredible tackle on a punt.

SEMO is generally dominating, but they should have been flagged for throwing that Griz return man on the kickoff. That said, the Griz shot themselves in the foot with that holding call; Johnson was going to have the ball downfield before he got hit on that play.

SEMO 113 yards passing, 92 yards rushing with a clear dominant back. Weak punting, but they don't really seem to need punting tonight.

Griz have a whopping NINE yards on the ground, and 127 through the air. Malik Flowers is a beast so far, but that's not going to be enough without a ground game. Griz punting is better than SEMO's, but punting isn't going to win this game...unless the Griz defense can push SEMO into their own end zone. The announcers mentioned something about Griz All-Everything LBer O'Connell down with an injury of some sort. I hope he can overcome that, because he will be needed in the second half....

Not weak punting—he pinned the Griz inside the 10 twice.

Yeah, that's the weakness of going off of straight stats, especially with punting. It doesn't happen very often anymore, but some teams back in the day had a short punting specialist so that the boomer wouldn't get his average screwed up with pinning someone deep. It does seem like one team did that today, though.
