Sac State just posted to FB that the season-opening game against Nicholls State has been moved up to THU 31 AUG 23.
That's interesting. Not that I could go anyway given the distance to EITHER Nicholls State OR Sac State (I suppose the distance to Sac doesn't really matter since it's a road game, but there IS the supposed return game next year to think about), but that's the night my team and I launch Royal Rangers Outpost TWO-NINE at First Assembly of God of Twentynine Palms. Maybe I can get someone to set their smartphone on a radio feed....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
