    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 12-7

Best Performance: (#2) Montana State 42, (#3) Sacramento St. 30 - The Bobcats register a statement win thanks to good pass defense and 100-yard rushing games from both Julius Davis & Tommy Mellott.

Worst Performance: Northern Colorado 17, Cal Poly 24 - The Bears are outgained 508-260 by a team that was also winless in conference play.

Most Surprising Result: Portland St. 24, Idaho St. 38 - After running for 366 yards against a stingy NAU front, the Vikings are only able to muster 100 yards on the ground against an ISU team that was dead last in the Big Sky in run defense (and still is). :?

Worst Performance: (#11) North Dakota 0, Northern Iowa 27 - The Fighting Hawks are shut out for the first time in 9 years as they seemingly fall out of the conference-title race.

Most Surprising Result: (#11) North Dakota 0, Northern Iowa 27 - The rivalry hangover is apparently quite real when you end a 20-year drought against your chief rival.

Most Surprising Result: Eastern Kentucky 32, Gardner-Webb 35 - Logan Blake's 21 tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble weren't enough for the Colonels to get revenge for last year's playoff loss.

Surprising, to say the least.

--Surprising to get to the game and find out that your top two rushers won't be playing.
--Surprising watching the team say "Hey, its Idaho State. We don't have to play the first quarter".
--Surprising to find out Idaho State is better than advertised (beat EWU, lost by one possession to Montana in Missoula).

Overall, it would have been tough to beat North American with that performance. It seems every year, the Viks give the last remaining faithful a good reason sometime during the season to start watching the Blazers.

OK, let's not go insane now. The whole team could've raided the Barney Beer Garden the hour before that game and still won.

I thought Portland St was a pass happy factory I remember when they were a beneficiary of the Run-N-Shoot in the '80s.

They've been a run-heavy team since they fired Jerry Glanville and replaced him with Nigel Burton in 2010.
