Go Griz.

Apparently the Furman QB said the Griz weren't particularly athletic. Fucking really? What douchebag buys that bait. Holy shit, it's like he thinks these kids have only played a couple games in their lives and his comments will cause them to go unhinged.

So far...Montana has looked to be the better team. Although it's one of those, "for how much we are dominating" we aren't up by much 20-14. Some big play scores in that stat. Montana returned the opening kickoff, only to "bum rush" the Furman QB and watch him hit the open man to tie it up at 7 all.

This fucker ain't close to being decided.

Holy crap. Way too close of a game. Griz dominated, but Furman able to take advantage of breakdowns and even send it to overtime. No fucking way I'm happy that shit happened. I expect a few scholarships threatened.

The Griz gave up two big plays and one score off a turnover. Otherwise it was all Griz.

The big deal is that Furman ran their mouth and couldn't back up what essentially constituted 4 big plays.

Montana D dominated the game.

Saying it was "all Griz" in any context is a stretch since the Griz offense only had 1 TD in regulation.

Other Observations

Aside from special teams, Furman reminded me a bit of Jay Hill's Weber teams: they're experts at making games ugly and winning those ugly games (or at least giving themselves a golden chance to win).

Has Furman ever changed their uniform design? I'm not suggesting they do so, but it's unusual in this day & age for a team to keep the same design from 20+ years earlier.

I didn't realize Nico Ramos's leg was that weak. :?

Neither QB could hit the broad side of a barn downfield. :?

Montana's MVP was arguably Furman's punter.

Bergen's kick-return TD was the first non-onside KR that the Griz took past midfield this season.

Well Furman dominated the Griz offense

Good thing Montana had some southern speed or it’s lights out for Montana and the overrated the Big Sky….

Beautiful venue for FCS football at Montana and ESPN knows this very well and is why the media pollsters love the Big Lie Conference

Yes. It's a quote from the football movie "Best of Times" with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell. It's what the coach was asking them to fire them up for the game.

Thanks for taking the time to organize and comment on the games. It's much appreciated.
