Yep. And the Sun Belt office admitted it in a statement.

So with the transfer porthole and Nil will we see fewer and fewer scalps, the same, or more?

Same: an FBS team losing to an FCS team will always continue because no team is exempt from losing a player to the portal. That’s what’s fair about the Transfer Portal, it benefits the players without giving an unfair advantage to one Program over the other. The Reigning Heisman Trophy winner voluntarily left Arizona State and transferred to LSU.

There will be challenges. FCS and G5 teams will lose stars that they've developed and will have an opportunity to pick up players that didn't live up to their potential or get an opportunity at P5 programs. Bigger rosters will make it easier for P5 programs to stash depth players and keep them with NIL $ but some will leave seeking a chance to start and hopefully star.

After weeks 0 and 1 and there were quite a few brutal matchups. But yes…so far.

Ok but last year I think there was only 4 and that seemed pretty low considering the CAA used to get that many in a single year

On top of Montana State's win over New Mexico 2 weeks ago we can add:
- Saint Francis (PA) over Kent State
- Southern Utah over UTEP in OT
- Idaho over Wyoming

Shots fired!

For those out of the PNW-mountain west loop, they used to be bitter rivals. Vandals hate Broncos.

That is true. Years ago when Idaho was still in the Sun Belt, they chartered an Alaska Airlines plane to fly somewhere, and the team refused to board the plane because it was decked out in Boise State livery.

Also, rumor has it that Boise State is willing to schedule any Big Sky team other than Idaho, not because they don't want to risk getting beat by the Vandals, but because Boise State does not want to pay the Vandals to play them.

They are kind of the UW of the MWC on a douchey level.

We can add
- Monmouth over Florida International, 45-42
- UT Martin over Kennesaw State, 24-13
