- NConf Record: 0-0
Overall: 22-24
vs. FCS: 0-0
Overall: 17-12
Best Performance: (#2) Montana St. 30, (#4) UC Davis 28 - The Bobcats scored 30 straight points fueled by 6 sacks, 2 forced turnovers, and a punt-return TD by Taco Dowler… and then nothing interesting happened after that.
Worst Performance: Idaho St. 42, Eastern Washington 77 - The Bengals lose rushing 478-114 and register a whopping 1 tackle-for-loss, the only defensive stat they recorded other than just tackles.
Most Surprising Result: Eastern Washington 77, Idaho St. 42 - The Eagles scored a touchdown on literally every single one of their offensive drives. I don't think I've ever seen that before… aside from in, like, Tecmo Super Bowl or NFL Blitz.

Best Performance: Lamar 24, Nicholls St. 7 - The Cardinal pass defense dominates, registering 4 sacks and 3 interceptions in a smothering shut down of the Nicholls offense.
Worst Performance: Northwestern St. 3, McNeese St. 35 - On average this season, the Demons are being outscored 44-10 and outgained 488-218.
Most Surprising Result: (none)

Overall: 21-7
Best Performance: (#1) North Dakota St. 59, (AGS #13) Missouri St. 21 - The Bison win rushing 364-86 and score on 9 of their 11 offensive drives in surprisingly lopsided victory.
Worst Performance: Northern Iowa 38, Youngstown St. 39 (OT) - The Panthers, who have dominated their all-time series with the Penguins overall, lose in Youngstown for the 4th. time in last 5 trips.
Most Surprising Result: (AGS #13) Missouri St. 21, (#1) North Dakota St. 59 - The Bears' 8-game win streak apparently meant nothing in the Fargo Dome as they fell behind 28-0 less than halfway through the second quarter.
UAC

ACU 35-31 TARL
SUU 38-31 UCA
EKU 30-27 AP (OT)
- NConf Record: 0-0
Overall: 14-19
vs. FCS: 0-0
Overall: 11-10
Best Performance: (#14) Abilene Christian 35, (#13) Tarleton St. 31 - Wildcat QB Maverick McIvor, who leads all of FCS in passing yardage, throws for 391 yards and 3 TDs (0 INTs) including a 1-yard game-winner to RB Sam Hicks with 19 seconds left.
Worst Performance: Utah Tech 31, West Georgia 34 - The Blazers were stymied in their attempt to win 2 in a row thanks to West Georgia scoring 20 straight points to open the second half.
Most Surprising Result: (#13) Tarleton St. 31, (#14) Abilene Christian 35 - Victor Gabalis threw for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 20 attempts, and that still wasn't enough for the Texans to keep the auto-bid out of ACU's hands.

Overall: 4-17
Best Performance: Morehead St. 29, Drake 20 - The Eagles close the game with 16 unanswered points as they win in Des Moines for the first time ever.
Worst Performance: Marist 23, Presbyterian 42 - The Red Foxes lose to Presbyterian for the first time in 4 all-time meetings in part because they allowed 2 50+ yard TD catches to Cincere Gill.
Most Surprising Result: Drake 20, Morehead St. 29 - The Bulldogs are prevented from clinching the auto-bid as they allow 29 points to a team that had only broken 20 points against a DI opponent once this season.
Tomorrow: the rest of the playoff conferences.
