Good question I heard about this on Google I think he is a analyst for Fox Sports
That is no longer the case he has officially accepted the HC JOB at Norfolk VA St just saw this on ESPN!!!! The Spartans are about to be a FCS POWERHOUSE REAL SOON!!!!!!!! The Tidewater area of VA is football crazy!!!!!!!!!SuperHornet wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 9:12 pm He was a finalist for the Sac position. While I think that the choice Sac ultimately made is light years better than Vick, I'm still not happy with it....
Well apparently the Spartans believe in second chances!!!!!! You must be a fan of the filmmaker Roman Polanski!!!!!!
will the new powerhouse choose to participate in the FCS playoffs?dal4018 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 10:18 pmThat is no longer the case he has officially accepted the HC JOB at Norfolk VA St just saw this on ESPN!!!! I personally hope they do but if they don't it's their choice to be in the Celebration Bowl.Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 8:59 amwill the new powerhouse choose to participate in the FCS playoffs?
They could always get an at large bid, but the Celebration bowl is where they would want to be for the payday!dal4018 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 2:05 pmI personally hope they do but if they don't it's their choice to be in the Celebration Bowl.Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 8:59 am

I don't see it as segregation. It's just a $$ grab. And it's never been a complete Ivy-style thing; SWAC and MEAC teams who don't make the Celebration Bowl have always been eligible for an at-large bid, should the committee choose to award one. If memory serves, FL A&M was the last, but I can't remember the year.
I agree with you on this BOBCAT I don't think the SWAC&MEAC should have turned in their AQ status this is the only way these leagues can gain recognition. But I see why they pump up the Celebration Bowl because of the money grab. Both leagues suffer from a weak financial environment.Yes Florida A&M was the last school from the HBCU FAMILY that was a threat all the way back to the late '90s that was a threat to be in the FCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.I argue with ppl who are HBCU SUPPORTERS all the time that we need to support these schools whenever they play against NON HBCU BASED SCHOOLS.Tenn St is going to host FCS POWER North Dakota St next year in Nashville and everyone in the HBCU FAMILY should show obvious support for the Tigers.SuperHornet wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 9:07 pmI don't see it as segregation. Would you care to fill us in, dal?
The SWAC did not seek to segregate themselves playoffs were started on the same date as two SWAC schools biggest game.
