1. McLeod Bethel-Thompson, QB, Sac State

Serving as QB2 for Montreal this season at the tail-end of a stellar CFL career. 4-10-1 INT in the team's first pre-season game against Ottawa (a loss) and did not play in the second (turning the tables on Ottawa). Sat out the big regular season opener, a 28-10 win over Toronto last night.

2. Darnell Sankey, LBer, Sac State

Serving as starting Mike Backer for Montreal again. One tackle in the pre-season loss noted above, and did not play in the pre-season win. Sankey was definitely "up" for last night's win over Toronto noted above, tallying four tackles, a sack, and a pass defense.

3. Bo Levi Mitchel, QB, E. Washington

Serving as QB1 for Hamilton. 13-23-101 in a pre-season win over Toronto. Did not play in a pre-season loss to Toronto the following week. Plays at Calgary today at 1600 PDT.

4. Vernon Adams, Jr., QB, E. Washington

Serving as QB1 for Calgary. Did not play in the first pre-season game at British Columbia (won 26-16). 9-12-129 in 31-4 (not a typo) win over Edmonton in the second pre-season game. Hosts Hamilton at 1600 PDT today.

5. Pierre Williams, WR, Sac State

Played for the Bay Area Panthers in the IFL last year, but now in a Mexican league at Mexico City. The team is 5-0 as of last week with a +79 point differential. Williams has hauled in 11 of 19 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown, adding four yards on one carry. He hasn't dropped a single pass so far.
