Big Sky Predictions 10-11

After splitting the four games last week, I am now at 48-8 for the year. Still respectable but not quite as good as before conference play started. Conference play has been tough for practically everyone. This week, two teams from the bottom are sitting the week out (Portland State and Eastern Washington) so there will be some great matchups this week. The picture may start to clear up a bit. Hare are my predictions for this week's slate.
CP at UM---The Mustangs have shown they can play with anyone in the conference, even if the wins have been hard to come by. The Grizzlies seem to like to toy with their opponents, only to come with full force at the end and snare a win. This game is at the Grizzlies' home so maybe a scare...UM 35, CP 21.
ISU at MSU---By rights the Bengals should have had a win at home last week but they let it slip through their fingers. They hit the road now to the Bobcats home turf. The Bobcats, meanwhile, handled a top conference team on the road last week and show no signs of letting up...MSU 41, ISU 21.
NAU at UCD---The Lumberjacks were hoping to make a positive statement last week, but instead showed that they may not belong in the upper elite. The Aggies got a strong conference win on the road last weekend and hope to carry it forward against a formidable foe. A good game to be had...NAU 35, UCD 28.
UNC at UI---Two teams coming off of byes last week. The Bears are still hoping they are for real and head into one of the tougher places in the conference. The Vandals are hoping for their first conference win this season in their friendly confines. Can they get it in this game?...UI 35, UNC 24.
SAC at WSU---Two more teams coming off of byes last week, and both probably needed it. The Hornets suffered a shocking home loss in their conference opener while the Wildcats endured a loss as well. The Hornets were hoping to make some noise this season so this game is important...SAC 27, WSU 21.
