SAC 27-31 UCD
IDST 37-16 IDA
NAU 28-48 WEB

PORTST 13-24 NOCO

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 23-24

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 19-9

Best Performance: (#2) Montana St. 31, (#3) Montana 28 - Justin Lamson completed 90% of his passes and Caden Dowler had another pick-six as the Bobcats earned the first road victory for either team in the Brawl of the Wild since 2018.

Worst Performance: (#22) Northern Arizona 28, Weber St. 48 - The Lumberjacks immolate their playoff chances after allowing 48 points to a Weber squad that had scored a total of 34 points in their previous 3 games. :suspicious:

Most Surprising Result: (#22) Northern Arizona 28, Weber St. 48 - The NAU offense contributed to the team’s demise, too, as they had a season-low 53 rushing yards and just 303 yards total (2nd. lowest of the season).

Southland

ETAMU 14-33 UTRGV
UIW 31-10 HCU
MCNSE 21-19 LAM

SFA 62-14 NWST

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 16-24

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 10-10

Best Performance: McNeese St. 21, (#20) Lamar 19 - The Cowboy pass defense controlled the game, holding Lamar QB Aiden McCown to just 8/23 passing for 135 yards, 1 TD, and 2 interceptions.

Worst Performance: Houston Christian 10, Incarnate Word 31 - The Huskies are tackled-for-loss 12 times as they finish the season 2-10, their worst mark since going winless in 2021.

Most Surprising Result: (#20) Lamar 19, McNeese St. 21 - The Cardinals appeared to be a bubble team coming into the week, so how exactly did they still get an at-large bid after this debacle? :suspicious:

Missouri Valley

SDKST 34-31 UND (OT)
STTHOM 7-62 NDSU
YSU 35-32 UNI
SIU 37-7 ILST
MUR 31-17 INST

  • NConf Record: 1-0
    Overall: 25-15

    vs. FCS: 1-0
    Overall: 23-6

Best Performance: Southern Illinois 37, (#13) Illinois St. 7 - It apparently wasn't enough to make the playoffs, but the Salukis did pull off a stunning upset after outrushing the Redbirds 296-73; Eddie Robinson ran for 145 yards while QB DJ Williams ran for 134 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Worst Performance: Indiana St. 17, Murray St. 31 - The Sycamores finish last in the Missouri Valley after allowing 232 rushing yards to Jawaun Northington, a guy whose previous season high was 81 yards against SIU.

Most Surprising Result: (#13) Illinois St. 7, Southern Illinois 37 - This thud of a performance didn’t quite cost the Redbirds an at-large bid, but it did cost them a home game in the first round. :?

United

EKU 33-10 UTU
AP 44-45 TARL (OT)
ACU 49-28 UCA
SUU 36-34 UNA (2OT)

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 17-18

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 14-11

Best Performance: (#5) Tarleton St. 45, Austin Peay 44 (OT) - The Texans get two 100-yard receivers and 215 rushing yards and a TD from Tylan Hines as they survive a marathon game and clinch a top-4 seed.

Worst Performance: Utah Tech 10, Eastern Kentucky 33 - The Trailblazers lose rushing 264-55 to a Colonel team that was last in the United in rushing yards coming in (Utah Tech ended up last).

Most Surprising Result: Austin Peay 44, (#5) Tarleton St. 45 (OT) - The offense did all they could—570 yards and 6 TDs against the top defense in the UAC–but it still wasn’t quite enough in what was a must-win scenario for the Governors.

    vs. FCS: 0-1
    Overall: 8-20

Best Performance: Drake 17, Morehead St. 10 - It wasn’t an impressive performance for the Bulldogs on the scoreboard, but Nick Herman did run for 253 yards and a touchdown in the PFL-clinching victory.

Worst Performance: Stetson 8, San Diego 42 - The Hatters gave 5 of their opponents their most lopsided DI wins of the season (San Diego, Marist, Dayton, Harvard, Chattanooga). :ohno:

FORD 26-27 MERR
GTOWN 7-42 HC
RICH 28-21 W&M

  • NConf Record: 1-1
    Overall: 19-21

    vs. FCS: 1-1
    Overall: 19-14

Best Performance: (#4) Lehigh 42, (#24) Lafayette 32 - Luke Yoder runs for 234 yards and 4 TDs on just 19 carries to outduel Kente Edwards (41 carries  , 157 yards, 3 TDs) as the Mountain Hawks clinch the Patriot League title and an undefeated regular season.

Worst Performance: Georgetown 7, Holy Cross 42 - With a winning season on the line, the Hoyas continued to prove they’re allergic to success as they committed 5 turnovers and gave up 3 non-offensive touchdowns to a 2-9 opponent. :ohno:

Most Surprising Result: Richmond 28, William & Mary 21 - The Spiders hold William & Mary to 194 total yards as they win their 3rd. straight Capital Cup (giving them a 3-game lead in the overall series).

Ivy League

PRINCE 6-17 PENN
COLUM 29-12 COR
DART 28-35 BROWN
HARV 28-45 YALE

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 16-8

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 16-8

Best Performance: Yale 45, (#7) Harvard 28 - Josh Pitsenberger ran for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns while Dante Reno threw for 273 yards and 3 TDs on just 19 attempts as the Bulldogs forced a shared Ivy League title for the 5th. time in the last 6 seasons.

Worst Performance: Cornell 12, Columbia 29 - The Big Red allow 203 rushing yards to Griffin Johnson, a guy who only had 215 yards on the season coming in.

Most Surprising Result: Dartmouth 28, Brown 35 - The Big Green give up a 74-yard interception-return touchdown with 4:50 to play as they literally throw away a potential at-large bid. :?

NEC

DUQ 20-17 RMU

SFPA 10-20 SHILL
MHURST 28-35 CCSU

  • NConf Record: 0-0

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 5-22

    vs. FCS: 1-1
    Overall: 19-18

Best Performance: Albany 31, (#15) Monmouth 24 - The Danes pull off one of the biggest upsets of the season thanks to 3 fourth-down stops and a nearly 2:1 time-of-possession advantage.

Worst Performance: (#15) Monmouth 24, Albany 31 - The Hawks, who were a 31.5 point favorite, fell behind 31-3 before they began an ultimately doomed rally.

Most Surprising Result: (#15) Monmouth 24, Albany 31 - Despite this awful loss, it’s still surprising Monmouth didn’t get an at-large bid. I wonder if the Hawks would’ve put Derek Robertson in (dressed, but didn't play) if they’d known their season may have been on the line.

Big South/OVC

EIU 0-56 BAMA

MER 17-62 AUB
SAM 0-48 TAMU
