Which quarterfinal team is most likely to pull off the upset.

Which road team is most likely to make the chipper?

Most likely would have to be ISUr after what they showed in Fargo.

As for most likely to make the chipper, I'd have to go with either ISUr again or USD. I think USD is the best road team remaining, but they also have the hardest road to Nashville.

I also don't think SFA or Nova are any good and will get boatraced in both games this weekend.

I agree with ISU being the most likely road winner. Their defense has dominated so far in the playoffs, and I still think Davis is overseeded (I also thought Rhody was overseeded, FWIW). ISU/Davis looks like a coin flip.

I don't think Nova will get boatraced, but I don't see their offense doing much of anything. They will probably need another 14-7 type game to win, and I think Tarleton's offense is too explosive to make that likely.

I think SFA could get hammered. We know how Southland/Texas teams tend to do up in Montana in the cold. It's not supposed to be all that cold this Friday, but still cold by East Texas standards.

Well Nova actually looked good

They dominated over rated Tarleton up front all day

Mace is fast

Villanova seemed to do a good job at confusion the TSU QB. I noticed he was off and then the announcer talked about Villanova doing a good job of showing one thing at the line and then something different after snap. I'll go with that.

Indeed they did. Nova has always had a great coaching staff, and nobody knows this more than Delaware fans.

Once it was 14 to 0, Nova didn’t panic on the road down in cocky Texas and they just kept playing their solid game and they slowly chipped away … the Tarleton quarterback looked like a mess right up until halftime.

You could see at the start of the third quarter that had made some adjustments and we’re competitive with Villanova for the rest of the game for the most part … that is like a counterintuitive statement, but someone will get it

I also liked watching Illinois State just hammer UC Davis with that battering ram running back… I know Davis had a lot of injuries, but obviously Illinois State knows about the reputation of the Big Sky defenses (not including the Montanas ). Once you get down to the Idaho’s the northern Arizona and the Sacramento States, their defenses are just not gonna win them many games in the playoffs

And gotta give a lot of credit to the Illinois State wide receiver # 2 that guy is super good … also I noticed that that’s who they went to for the win when the chips were down in Fargo

Daniel Sobkowicz is on 🔥 right now for Illinois St and I said that he should use the postseason as a NFL AUDITION as a WR.

Daniel Sobkowicz torched UC DAVIS with 150 yds

Daniel Sobkowicz torched UC DAVIS with 150 yds
A lot of those yards were on one big play and it actually look like he pushed the UC Davis receiver down

But yeah, he is a talent

I saw that play I don't think he pushed off he used his size to take advantage of the DB.I want to see how fast he is in the 40.

You’re probably right about that, I don’t think he’s a burner, but he has sneaky good speed

Sneaky Good speed that is why I make the suggestion that White guys should be involved in Track to shoot down what you just said I hope they get Sobkowicz involved from the passing game very early I want to see him get a chance to break the FCS TITLE GAME for RECEIVING YDS 220 held by Randy Moss back in '96 vs Montana. They have a frosh WR Luke Mailander and it was said that he is the fastest WR for Illinois St but he is not as big as Sobkowicz 5-11 180.

Over the years i’ve seen a few white wide receivers who I thought were good enough to be in the NFL and for whatever reason, it just didn’t happen

David Ball New Hampshire

Branden Kauffman Eastern Washington

Most recently, Phil Lutz Delaware

Maybe even a Robert Ferrel Incarnate Word and a fav target of Cam Ward

Seriously? One is a Super Bowl MVP. The other, Efton Chism III is a rookie with the Pats.

Oh. My misunderstanding. I was surprised by Kaufman too. I think NFL scouts and personnel are wising up a bit now.

There was one who could have been mentioned by you Jeff Janis from D2 Saginaw Valley St he should have been a FCS FOOTBALL PRODUCT.I mentioned Sobkowicz as a NFL PROSPECT on WFAN SPORTS RADIO NY.I will be watching for him in the FCS NATIONAL TITLE GAME vs Montana St of this guy lives up to the hype that is going to help his draft status.

Roger Carr was fast Baltimore Colts

Fred Bilitnkoff - Raiders was a good one
