Citadel '92 football grad RDML Carey Cash, D.Min., M.Th., M.Div. will be promoted to RADM and installed as the 29th US Navy Chief of Chaplains on Friday. He will succeed RADM Gregory Todd, a Missouri Synod Lutheran who will retire. Cash was a First Team All-American offensive right tackle at The Citadel, and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 2005.
