2006: Played in all 15 games as a true freshman ... made 20 tackles (11 solo) and broke up a pair of passes ... notched season-best five tackles in blowout win at Chattanooga ... ranked second on the team with four kick returns for 79 yards.

A two-year starter, Eric Allen begins his senior campaign with 907 career receiving yards, just 93 yards away from the 1,000-yard plateau.

2006: This was a break-out season for Allen, as he was named first team All-Big Sky Conference and had a team-leading 801 yards receiving. He was second on the squad with 51 receptions. He had at least one catch in all 14 games last season and had four or more grabs in eight contests.

He was ranked ninth in the Big Sky in receiving yards per game with a 57.4 average.

He played in all 14 games and started in 12. His 801 receiving yards last season ranked him 18th on UM's single-season list. He was an All-Region honorable mention pick by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

2005: He started in 11 of 12 games (he did not start in the Oct. 22 game against Cal Poly) and played in all 12. “EA” tied for fifth on the team with 14 receptions.

2004 - Oklahoma State: Transfered to Montana (from Oklahoma State) following his freshman season at OSU. Allen was a redshirt at OSU in 2003.

High School: Eric prepped at Palmer High School. He had 60 catches for 1,019 yards as a junior. His senior season he had 67 receptions for 971 yards and 18 touchdowns. Allen was twice selected all-state and all-conference. He was voted his Palmer High School team's “Outstanding Receiver” as a junior and senior. His high school coach was Rob Baker.

Personal: Birth date: November 6, 1984. His major is communication studies. His parents are Patti Kryszanowki and Frank Allen of Colorado Springs.

Career highs: He had 7 receptions last season against South Dakota State and at Weber State. His career-high in yards was 132 at WSU. He had a career-long 54-yard touchdown catch at home against Montana State in 2006. He had one rush for a 23-yard TD at Northern Colorado last year.

Quoting head coach Bobby Hauck: "Eric had a nice year and was named first team all-conference (in 2006). He was very productive. The thing I've seen from him in spring ball this year and going into the season is that he's improved his blocking ability. We expect him to be a complete player for us this fall."
