Nicholls St. with a 14-7 lead at the half.

Cool!!!!! Go Nicholls!!!

There appears to be a delay in the game with 9:57 left in the third. Perhaps weather-related?

Nicholls ended up winning this one 16-14 after about a two hour lightning delay on a blocked punt for a safety.

Actually...there were 2 1-hour delays...one in the first half and another in the 2nd half. I listened to the entire game from 7 to midnight and the Colonels should have won the game by more than they did. That being said, we're ecstatic that Nicholls State was able to pull off the upset - some are considering the biggest win in school history.

You Nicholls guys just have a way of beating up on Bailiff. He never could beat you while he was at Texas State and now you are picking on him at Rice.
Seriously congrats on the win, look forward to seeing you guys in November.

It was a good win for Nicholls State. It would have been an even bigger deal if this had not happened.

Great weekend for 1-AA teams. Good showing for a couple of them. Northern Colorado and Weber St. had tough weekends, but overall not too shabby.
