YSU's Home Opener features a quality OOC opponent in the Jackrabbits from South Dakota State University. SDSU lost this past weekend to WIU in 4 overtimes, and will be looking to get their first win in their first visit to Stambaugh Stadium this Saturday evening at 6pm.

YSU lost to Ohio State 38-6 last week, but held the Buckeyes to under 100 yards rushing until a late 40 yard rush in the 4th quarter by the Bucks. Their goalline defense shut down the Buckeyes on 3 possessions and the DL was all over talented Buckeye backs Beanie and Maurice Wells.
