A generational thing, I guess - AppGuy04 relates to Madden of the electronic media and I relate to SI of the print media.

Really? It's been around longer than you've been alive....

Fear the SI jinx. History is rife with next-game or whole-season collapses following a glam-shot on SI. Any number of Duke basketball covers usually signalled a downfall. The ones AFTER they won are the collectibles. Not to mention a lot of the Duke ones were just plain stupid pictures.

You've obviously never seen one of the best episodes of "Coach". Coach Hayden Fox was on the cover of SI and Luther was going crazy bc his leg was in the picture so he thought his leg was jinxed! Great episode! I miss that show...

I think the big lunk on that show was a Montana State graduate (and may have even played football)....

I've actually seen most episodes of Coach.. but I barely remember that episode because I was in my teens.
