Dayton lands two FBS transfers!!

Post by DetroitFlyer »

After many, many years, probably since the Division III days, the Flyers have landed two FBS transfers!

Andrew Cobb from North Carolina State

Joey Homan from the University of Cincinnati

I do not think that Mike Kelly actively pursued FBS transfers. It looks like Rick Chamberlin may have a different thought on this topic. Glad to see Dayton getting this caliber of player to go along with another impressive looking recruiting class.

I know that we just missed on a third transfer from Syracuse, (he chose Eastern Kentucky).

Kind of gets me fired up for football season!

That's pretty impressive for Dayton. Good job to the Flers.

Wow, I sure wish that Harvard would play the Flyers.... Kind of funny to see an Ivy League fan looking down on the NEC and PFL. I suppose that you simply realize that both conferences will be passing you by shortly and that both conferences have teams that would send the poor boys at Harvard crying home to their mommies....

Well the NEC is really starting to turn around i believe starting with UAlbany who i think could really turn some heads and upset some people this year.

Appear to be really good gets for the Flyers, I can say we were happy to get Fairchild from Syracuse, I guess he was a very good HS player. Any clue how he was doing at SU? Why he left?
