You mean Tygue? He's 2nd string, behind Drew. With this new injury, its an unlikely we will see him at all in his 22nd season of eligibilityMrTitleist wrote:What's this I heard about the starting QB breaking his _____ and missing the season?

Tygue Howland was the starter, but was to enter this year as the backup to Hubel. Fitting to say the least as it was widely rumored, but never confirmed that Howland was Davis' choice to run the offense, while Glanville liked Hubel. The last couple years was mainly potential (Howland) versus proven (Hubel). The new backup, Kavanaugh, was the quarterback for the North team against Hubel and the South in the Oregon Shrine game a couple years back. Big knock on Kavanaugh is his size (5-11) as compared to Hubel (6-6) and Howland (6-3).MrTitleist wrote:What's this I heard about the starting QB breaking his _____ and missing the season?
JALMOND....what do you think of Pearson? Do they keep him at QB? Or is he to athletic to not put him at a skill position?JALMOND wrote:Tygue Howland was the starter, but was to enter this year as the backup to Hubel. Depends on what type of offense Glanville will put in (I really don't think Craft and Strasser will have total control). We will need receivers regardless, even if Fry and Woods are eligible (I'm also hearing that we may use Shedd on both sides of the ball, ala Rashad Floyd some years back). Pearson might see time at a receiver postion to start. We undoubtably have more questions everywhere than anyone else in the league.PSUVikings wrote:JALMOND....what do you think of Pearson?
