The ASU library has been in the process of digitizing many historical photographs. Here are a few old school App photos.
Looking forward to seeing more from other teams.
E.C. Duggins. Appalachian State football coach from 1947-50 and 1952-55.
Conrad (Kidd Brewer) Stadium in 1962.
A game against Catawba in 1967.

None of the players stick out from the white uniforms.

Maybe because the entire team is white?
Any photos of Northern Arizona's squad that went a craptastic 0-9 in 1955?

O.R. Latham Field in the 1930's
The dome is now across the street from where those bleaches are, and that is now the Latham Parking Lot

The dome when it first opened.
You can actually see O.R. Latham Field across the road from it.

Man those are some awesome old pics guys! UM has a pretty big photo library from the past 8 yrs. or so but I don't know how they are coming with getting the old photo's digitized.
Interesting things about Red's and particularly the Mo Club downtown is that it is a history lesson when you walk in the place. The walls are covered with old pics all over the walls. I love the oldern times pics man.

This one is kind of small, but it's one of my favorite Griz photos of all-time. Pictured is Papa Bear (Don Read) I am not sure what year this is but I think it's in the mid-late 80s.

1993 is
not historic, it's just yesterday. Now, 1953 is cause that's before I was born

Those are some great pics. There is/was a restaurant in New Haven CT named Cavanaugh's that had some great pic's of old Yale teams hanging on their walls. Unfortunately, I don't currently have access to them.

With the way the dome looks now compared to then....it really is historic. The only thing that looks the same in this place anymore is the seats....and....well that's it.
