UMass Picks Up Two Syracuse Transfers

UMass announced today that two former members of the Syracuse Orangemen football team have transfered to Amherst. Junior LB Mike Mele ( UMass bio here

I don't have any other info on either.

Mele looks like a solid transfer. Seems to have put together a pretty good season last year with Cuse.

And if he is a good catch, that makes a strong LB corps that much better....

That program has been on the schneid for a while now... when's the last time they were decent? When McNabb was there? Also a new coach, maybe he's cleaning house or the players who are leaving don't like him.
