We can only hope PSU doesn't have a drought like Weber did of 40 yrs between titles.

What I do know about PSU football is they have beaten EWU 3 straight years currently.

PSU is 11-8 vs EWU since 1990.

PSU has been to more NCAA Tournaments in the last 2 yrs in basketball that EWU has in its school's history.

I'm not sure if PSU have any hope for better facilities being in an inner city. No room to build something...at least something feasibly affordable.

Why are we bashing each other's schools in the same conference? How about we dis the CAA instead? LOL

Shouldn't number 1 be, "They're not Montana"?

PSU has had two coaches since joining the Big Sky. The first, Walsh, was a meat and potatoes guy, too conservative by far, absolutely predictable. The fans were fading, so they brought in the opposite, the ex-NFL coach Glanville, who is in his third season trying the hyper-pass run and shoot game. Lots of fire, more fan interest, but winning precious few games. This year and next we'll see the results of his recruiting. We'll also see the r and s offense move towards a modified spread (by any other name). The result will be a few more games won - how many is anyone's guess. A 5-6 season is expected. The less cautious say 6-5. That's saying that QB Hubel stays healthy. NEXT year we might start thinking about the championship. Maybe.

We may never catch up with Montana, with their advantage of being the only football team in the state (pace MSU). UO and OSU will always outdraw us, both in fans and recruits. But we're perfectly willing to try. Our stadium, by the way, is being refit next year to hold 26,000. That's a respectable Big Sky number, even by Montana standards.

We don't worry about EWU any more. Its a gimme win.

#1: It's really hard to win a conf. title when you're 3-8.

EWU will have PSU's lunch this year.

Coaching change that meant almost every player on the team did not fit the new scheme
Next year - Started a ton of freshman
Next year - Showed signs of being explosive but no consistency
Next year - QB play was alright but no defense

The talent level is increasing under Glanville but the overall youth of the team means that it will be awhile

It might help to mix in a run game every now and then.

Cute, Beverly. Anything to dismiss the fact that You can't beat us!!!

Just bring your "A" game on Halloween. Your attempts to disguise the fact that we own you is getting lame. After we win in Seattle and next year in Portland, if you want to move the game to some poor farmer's hay pasture is fine with me. I'll be there and we will win there, too.

BEST TEAM WINS! BEST TEAM WINS!

This is true, most FCS stadiums don't even hold 10,000. Some don't even hold 5,000. I guess the point is to be grateful for what you have. Take a look around the country & you feel much better.

I always that WSU had a teeny stadium and that it wasn't very nice. Then when I found out what the rest of the Big Sky had and took a look on the stadium database on this website I was shocked at home many small or lame stadiums there are.

I realized WSU has one of the nicest in the country...not bad for a school thats been a basketball school for the past 40 yrs...

I was with you untill there. You took it a little too far. Weber has a *very* nice pressbox, probably top 5 in the fcs nation. But thats where it stops. Weber's stadium only has grandstands on the sidelines... thats boring, theres no architecture... they just built the two grandstands and said "Welp, there ya go".

But dont get me wrong, It is a very good fcs stadium...I would rather play at woodward any day bc you have fans in the endzones, as well as the sidelines....but Weber does have a cool stadium.... some endzone seating would help :)

big sky stadiums. from worst to first.

9. nor col
8. portland state
7. sac state
6. idaho state
5. nau
4. eastern wash
3. weber state
2. montana state
1. montana

I'm not saying its off the hook, its pretty standard setup, endzone seating would be tight. It might not win an architecure award but i'd put it up against any in the nation for scenary/backdrop. I just was surprised looking at that stadium database.

Overall I'm like the rest of you, I really don't care what it looks like, I'd just like to see it full. Apparently it happened in 2005 but I was outta town that week. lol

I hope I can see it full before UM comes back...oh I guess I should assume there would be good weather.

Ive only been to ISU, NAU & UM.

ISU's of course is a joke hence LOLT Arena.
UM's well I was surprised it was an FCS stadium.
NAU's is pretty nice, the seats are old school but I'd love to have the Sky Dome in Ogden. So even though UM's is nicer, NAU's is my fav since it can never be affected by weather.

Domes are boring. The schools build them USUALLY so they can use it for different things. bball indoor tract ect.... On top of that, the limit the ability to expand the stadium.
